Paige is turning 4 years old on Friday! It is so hard to believe that she is getting that old. We moved when she was just 5 months old so she only knows this place as home. She has done a lot of growing up in that time. Take a look...

This photo is of Paige when she is less than 2 weeks old. Duane and I joked that she had "kissy lips", she still does and we love it. Ah, how sweet she is.

1 Year Old

Paige when she is 1 year old enjoying eating. It is still one of her favorite past times. I love this photo because it shows her in such a cute expression.

Paige on a cold December day in 2004. She had just found a leaf and was showing Duane her new treasure. What a simple time!

2 Years Old

Paige enjoying herself by the water on vacation. She is two years old in this photo. She was surprisingly brave near the waters edge. She acted like she had always loved the water. Notice her face in this photo. The scrapes are pretty characteristic of her face during this year and the following. She fell a lot that year!

3 Years Old

Paige on her 3rd birthday. She was in love with Chewbacca from Star Wars. Duane found this vintage Chewie on ebay. She was so excited to see Chewie. Chewie was good at giving hugs! Not too long after this Chewie couldn't give anymore hugs, his arms fell off!

What a joy she is in our family. Many people say that the middle child is a special child. I think that I would agree. We see things in Paige that are incredible for such a young age. She has such a heart for others. She is very sympathetic to other's feelings. She is extremely hospitable. She anticipates others' needs too. We just recently learned that she is ambidextrous. She loves to sing and has an infectious laugh! What a great year is ahead of her. She will attend pre-school in the fall and is very excited about that. She has a lot of friends and loves her big sister Jena more than her own life sometimes! One of her best qualities is her hug!
